Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Tbilisi. Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position reports to the Head of Accounting and works closely with other members of the accounting team.

This position is announced as a temporary role with a duration of up to 1 year.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor and employee payments.
  • Record bank transactions accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and maintain assigned balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to treasury operations.
  • Assist internal and external financial audits by providing required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and treasury procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
  • Knowledge of accounting systems
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, other computer programs, at user level
  • Knowledge of English Language
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills, attention to detail
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • A methodical approach and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
